VACQUEYRAS
The Vacqueyras appellation covers 1,460 hectares spread between the communes of Sarrians and Vacqueyras, in the heart of Vaucluse. Elevated to the rank of Cru in 1990, it offers production in three colors: red (94%), rosé (1%), and white (5%). The main grape varieties: Reds: Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre. Whites: Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Marsanne, Bourboulenc, Viognier. The maximum yield is set at 36 hectoliters per hectare.
